‘Twilight in the Forest’, a sequel to my previous novels, ‘Under the Same Moon’ and ‘Shadows in the Sun’, is about to be launched. To celebrate this, we will be having a book launch today (Friday 30th June 2023) at the KSP Writers Centre in Greenmount at 6pm. Any Perth followers, please come down for drinks, nibbles and a chance to get a hard copy.
‘Twilight in the Forest’ takes some of the characters from the other books, and their descendants, forward to Kenya in the 1950s, when the first stirrings of the movement towards ‘Uhuru’ (‘Freedom’ of ‘Independence’) had led to the Mau Mau Rebellion, which affected all the inhabitants of the colony, whatever their race or social standing.
It’s another story of ordinary people trying to cope with extra-ordinary situations. It is a tale of drama, tragedy, and heroism with a connecting theme of love and loyalty.
