Twilight in the Forest

As the expatriate community in the British colony of Kenya recovers from the hardships imposed by the recently concluded 2nd World War, they must also come to terms with the rise of African nationalism which could threaten their whole way of life. The violence this engenders among many of Kenya’s peoples results in the growth of the Mau Mau insurgency and the declaration of a State of Emergency. People of all faces are obliged to question and re-examine their relationships with those around them and face unexpected challenges. Through it all runs a thread of love and devotion which may lead to loss and tragedy or lift the participants in the drama to better things.
